Stuart Tattum is a Principal with Columbus Consulting, Inc. Stuart is a highly motivated professional with a unique combination of outstanding business and information technology skills specializing in the retail industry. He has demonstrated a track record of delivering reliable, high quality, bottom line oriented results. Stuart’s experience includes business significant process and systems projects at domestic and international retailers and sophisticated project management including software development. He is a retail software veteran with 20 years industry experience.
Prior to joining Columbus Consulting Stuart was responsible for Retail Planning Services Marketing at Planalytics. Stuart joined Planalytics as Chief Technology Officer. Stuart also spent 13 years in various management roles with the Arthur divison of Comshare. As the Arthur Allocation Product Marketing Team Leader Stuart directed the design, development and global rollout of the initial versions of the Arthur Allocation application. Stuart also served as the North American Client Services Manager for Arthur, managing all implementation projects.
Stuart began his career at the British retailer Next, where he was a founding member of the team that developed the initial versions of the Arthur Planning, Assortment Planning and Decision Support applications. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Operations Research with Computing from The University of Leeds, England.
Since joining Columbus Consulting Stuart’s client experience includes leading Merchandise Planning, Store Planning, Assortment Planning and Allocation projects at American Eagle, Ann Taylor, Coach, DSW, Hibbett Sporting Goods, Lord & Taylor, New York and Company, Polo Ralph Lauren Retail, Syms, Urban Brands (Ashley Stewart) and Wal-Mart.
