Tom is a retail professional with over 30 years experience. Prior to his alliance with Columbus Consulting, Inc., his most recent assignment was with Limited Brands Technology Services as a Senior Manager within a multi year project to replace all of the host and specialized retail systems within Limited Brands. This included system integration between SAP Financials, POS, JDA Enterprise Planning, Channel Clustering, Manugistics, SAP Retail, and Intactix Space planning.

Tom has held various positions in the retail industry including Meldisco Shoe, Hills Department Stores, Thorn Americas , Victoria’s Secret, and Limited Brands’ centralized IT department. Tom has many years of experience in working all phases of the retail process from store level management through Planning and Allocation to IT Project and Program Management. Tom has an extensive Merchandise Planning leadership background and has either led or participated in planning system implementations at Hills, Thorn Americas, Victoria’s Secret, Limited Too, Bath and Body Works, Lane Bryant, Limited Stores and New York and Company. Tom has also led major implementations in Space Planning and Banking Reconciliation systems while with Limited Brands. In addition to implementation and system administration roles, Tom has also participated in numerous successful software selection and evaluation initiatives.

Other affiliations have included multiple years as Special Interest Group Chairman for JDA’s AIM Database and Performance Analysis and longstanding member of Association of Merchandise Planning and Allocation professionals (A.M.P.A.)

Tom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts.
