Floro has over 15 years experience in the information technology industry with the last 12 years specifically on retail companies. Floro’s experiences include an eight year stint at Limited Brands working on the business intelligence applications for Victoria’s Secret (both stores and direct businesses), Lane Bryant, Lerner New York, Limited Too, Limited Stores, Structure, Bath & Body Works, and Express.
Floro has been consulting for the last four years with Columbus Ohio companies: Cardinal Health, Big Lots and Abercrombie & Fitch. Recent client engagements with Columbus Consulting include the Arthur Allocation disengagement project for Limited Stores and the Merchandise Planning implementation of Oracle RPAS for Walmart’s UK division, ASDA.
Floro has built enterprise wide business intelligence and data management solutions, including several enterprise logical data model of retail businesses. As such, Floro has a comprehensive knowledge of retail business processes including merchandising, planning, allocation, store operations, sales audit, loss prevention, retail finance, price management, campaign and customer management, real estate, distribution, logistics as well as reporting and analysis.
Floro’s system experiences include working with ERP applications such as SAP ECC and Oracle RMS. Most recently, Floro has been working with Arthur Allocation and Oracle RPAS. From a business intelligence perspective, Floro has experience with Teradata, MSBI, Oracle BI, and SAP BI. From a data management perspective, Floro has experience doing back-end data integration using enterprise tools such as Informatica and IBM Datastage as well as experience addressing master data management issues such as hierarchy management using tools from IBM and SAP.
Floro has a bachelors degree in engineering from the University of the Philippines. He also has graduate masters degree in engineering minor in Operations Research from Lousiana Tech University. Floro is certified in data management technologies from Teradata and Microsoft.
