Rick McPhillips is a proven professional with over 25 years experience in retail merchandise management, and retail consulting related to merchandising processes and software. Working in a consulting capacity, he has optimized planning, assortment, and allocation business processes at some of North America’s leading retailers. He has also serviced clients internationally and is highly knowledgeable in the software solutions that are available in today’s market. He has presented at several retail events including tradeshows, conferences, and the Merchandise Planning Community Center. Prior to his Alliance with Columbus Consulting, Rick worked as Director of Professional Services – Planning and Allocation for The NSB Group (formerly MMS / STS Systems) and in various capacities for Island Pacific - Europe. Rick’s career began in the retail fashion apparel sector with The Children’s Place, The TJX Companies, and Montgomery Ward during the 80’s. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
